I know I won’t be the first to write about this, but write I must.

I sat on the floor, feeling nauseated and watching MSNBC when news broke yesterday about what happened at a high school in Georgia with the school year just underway.

It would be expected if I said I felt numb because we’ve been living this absolute madness for years, but no…I felt sick.

How I wish I could have taken an Advil to relieve the angst, but no such thing exists.

As the saying goes…if you keep doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result, well…you know the rest.

When Sandy Hook happened, I thought for sure that we’d get our heads out of our asses and realize that we have a problem with guns.

I’ll never forget President Obama speaking about it. I cried with him and likely so did you.

And before anyone says that I’m against the Second Amendment or anything similar, let’s get this on the table…

My father was a hunter.

My uncle was a hunter.

Both took my brother and nephew hunting when they were in the 10–14 age range. Like the alleged shooter.
